Sustain Coir Industry says Vayalar Ravi

Alappuzha, the center of coir plays an important role for the rural people across the Kerala and different part in India. To sustain the coir sector, government need to give large involvement by providing finance and other scheme before the downfall which will affect the whole coir economy.

Government has to encourage the exporters of coir and natural fibers and to find large market across the world and also initiate for the development of coir trading in future.

It is meant very important raw materials for the production of coir and  natural fiber should be made available to them in large extend for the further mechanism where we can produce coir and natural fibers from the limited sources of raw materials as the production is done by hand made.
The industry provides maximum employment for the people and it has to be sustained. There is need for further research and development in production of yarn and husk.
