Ensure Possibilities of co operative
sector

Minister for State foe Civil Aviation Sri K.C Venugopal
inaugurated the seminar. In his speech he told co-operative societies to come
forward.
Sri. A.K
Rajan Chairman KCWWFB said in his report that the co-operative sector is
lagging in decision making processes and also lack of experts in the field. He
also focused on low productivity and non-effective utilization of funds by
them.
He requested
coir production servicers to move in hand with co-operative societies in order
to bring new concepts in the sector and also for the upliftment of the sector.
For the
non-availability of raw materials in the market, he put forward some
suggestions and also to acknowledge the public about the value of husk, he
said.
He also
added that for the better co-operation in the sector there should be an
effective marketing strategy.
Panel member
Sri K.R Bhageerathan, president ACCDB said the gathering that extraction of
husk to link with National Employment Service Scheme which will employment
opportunities as well as in time delivery of husk.
He also said
that the value of husk should be increased to make husk available in the
market.
Sri V.S Mani
Panel Member said in his speech that we need to overcome the drawbacks
happening in the sector.
In
interactive session, officers from different parts of Kerala put forward many
suggestions to the concerned authority like gibing training to the workers,
changes needed in the political system, solutions for the scarcity of raw
material and different developmental activities for the sector.
